Its amazing how much stuff we have that is already filling up the Harry Potter kitchen!
Eventually we would like the kitchen tables to be full of the food that is being prepared for the feasts that will be on the Banquet Hall table. For example, at Christmas, the Christmas dinner food, eg Turkey, roast Potatoes, veg, christmas puddings etc. And at halloween the lovely fancy Halloween candies, cakes and goodies!
But for now we are cheating just to see what it looks like full! So we have 'borrowed' the wonderful miniatures that Vicky Guile made for the Sweeney Todd project ( the walls are still being bricked!) and ladened the tables and shelves with them. The dresser is also for the Sweeney project too so that wont be staying either. But it fits in well at the moment.
I have painted one of the tables today and the back table still needs to be done to match so it looks like one big table.
On the left of the fireplace is a wall shelf with lots of bowls of fruit and veg, Nikki's jars of eggs and jams etc, and underneath a butchers block with lots of crates and sacks of veg.
To the right of the fireplace is a small washstand with more crates and this will have hanging items on it.
The centre tables are at the moment with loads of cooking items, food being prepared etc.
We have added a small bench which will have lots of minis on it. Infact I should have put the mandrakes on here, they are still at the foot of the fireplace so I need to move them to the front.
Want lots of normal foods but thrown in some character bits like Debbies smashing cabbages with teeth, the mandrakes, some character mushrooms, etc so it gives it that fantasy feel! .
What do you think so far?

It's lovely! I can't wait to see it when you have everything in place.
As Ron Weasley would say "Bloody Brilliant".. Looks fantastic..Glad to see the Cabbages still have their fangs, thought the little ones may have played Dentist and pulled them out..LOL
Thanks we are really pleased with it! Forgot to prop up the elf umbrella in there too so he goes in next. And no Deb, theres no way they are getting there mits on them, too precious! Really want to get a sink in there somewhere and that will be a fantasy style with the dishes washing themselves, brush midair...well thats the plan!
