Well, John's Science lab Project ( which he started purely to get out of having to put together my Greenleaf Chocolate shop Im sure!!) has come to a temporary halt as we have decided to venture into a new joint project of this Harry Potter house . Im not good at woodwork, so that his job. He's very good at spending money too, and has already bought some wonderful miniatures which we will now be using on this project, potion jars, potion boards, are all ready to go in, and THANKYOU Nikki for all this fabulous work! We have decided to put all these new minis into the new project. So we need to get a move on and start work on this house.
It is 5 rooms, and a small attic room in the back also. The house was already decorated and lit when we got it , so some lights have been changed, but there is still work to be done on the decor. Neither of us like the papered walls and alot of the painted interior ones come to that ( wow those colours are way too loud!) and in time these will be changed to paperclayed stone walls but for now we will continue to make the interior furniture etc so we can show off some of the brilliant items collected, and made so far, which are dying to be showed off.
Heres the house itself inside and out , Im sure you can see by the stlye what a great Harry Potter project it will make!
We will have a Kitchen, a Potion Room/classroom, Dumbledores Study, Attic room for trunks, owls etc, And a small Grand Hall!! The house is fairly large but not large enough for a fullsize Dining hall so we will make do with 1 long banquet style table, ( Griffindor of course!!) whxcih will have different style feasts at different times of year, eg Christmas, halloween etc, so lots of work to do there!
Looking forward to this project. Which room to start first?

Hi Kate and John. Oh so pleased you have both arrived. And what a dark horse John is for not giving me even the slightest hint that your housees were to die for. He had me believeing he was rubbish with tools. Now i know not to belive a word he syas in future.
I think you have both done a fab job so far and can't wait for more. I love everything here! I'd go to the moon and back if my houses were looking so magical!
