Hi Everyone,well week one of the hols is already over, a week of many trips to the park, and good days out.
Not much miniature work done, but in the evenings Ive managed to sneak in decorating the walls of the Sweeney house, and am really pleased so far.
Its great that the walls are all supposed to be abit rotten looking, torn paper, as it means i dont have to be perfect with it, just glue it on, and any bubbles and creases just add to the effect I desire!!
Anway tomorrow after the children have had their Easter Egg Hunt, and are scoffing all the choccie Im going to try out the floorboards in the Barber's and parlour rooms. Havnt had the time or peace needed to start the tiled paperclay floor until back to school day!!
So tonight, having a browse on Ebay as you do, always checking out the dollhouses just to annoy John, and saw that the guy that made our Potter house has made another identical.
If you like ours check this out, it only has a day left, and has a really low starting price and so far no bids! It is decorated quite brightly but we are toning all of ours down. Its great as its lit so alot of the hard work is done, and makes a great harry Potter or Wizard project.
