Right My turn!!

Ok here goes, today I have had my orders to have a look at the wiring in the HP house . Why is it a transformer says it takes 32 bulbs and when you plug in all the lights ( and there are only 16 on there at the moment and we need to add another 10 so it should cope) they dont all light up! All the house was lit when I bought it but they wernt right, so we have replaced the potion room lights from too girly tiffany lights to 2 great old looking lanterns. Then we changed the top room light and placed that in the grand Hall. Kate then took a chandelier stolen out of her old bridal shop, and dirtied it up by dry brushing it with black on top of the brass and then adding some sploshes of deep purple to the white candles to make it more wizardy. We put it in last night and only 3 of the 10 bulbs light up! So I think we need to add another lighting transormer which means drilling a hole and trying to avoid the lighting wires already in and well hidden in the ceiling! We want more wall lights in Dumbledores office anyway ( and Im thinking maybe a glowing crystal ball somewhere, maybe like a pensieve?) so going to take more lights out of the back and take the chandelier wires up into the attic room and add these all onto a new tranformer. Then fingers crossed they will all work!

Oh and yesterday i bought myself a miniature of sorts, Im mad on Wallace and Gromit and found a Airfix kit with a hundred and so parts, of a Landrover, Shaun the Sheep and his mates, so we've come to a deal, Kate puts this together for me and Ill make a start in the summer on her Chocolatiers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sounds fair to me!

Don't have a clue about electric wiring. I prefer the pretend candle look and think i'll just not bother with electric. My husband is an electrician but won't get involved so i'm going back in time when electric wasn't invented. Its the best way... lol
Torches work fine don't they?

Nikki I think I may have to agree with you on this one, Im sure it will look great all lit but its tricky trying to get the lights to fit into this guys lighting system! May cheat and work it off a different easier lighting strip instead of trying to fathom out the copper wiring system hes chosen!May just get out my airfix kit instead!!
