And some more!!!!!!!!!!!

And here's the circular parts of the roof stictched, it really shows up here in person but not so much on the camera, but you get the idea!

Just the other side to do but fingers sore, so as the little ones are due back with their stories of their day, best do that later and have a break!!

Oh and Im dismantling a wishing well at the same time, pinching tiny pieces of slate from around our garden water feature to redo the roof in!! Then off to Pets City to grab a bag of tiny stones for doing the well part!!

Thanks for all the comments so far, i will reply later to you all! Getting that indecisive feeling now, maybe I could combine the fairy/Snow white theme do you think that would work? I do so love the furniture made from natural materials but I guess that would still work as the dwarves would probably use natural woodland things in the home? Snow White could have a beautiful bed made from flowery things and the dwarves have bunk beds as Marsha suggested .

The kitchen downstairs would still have a dresser full of acorn bowls of fruit, eggs, veg etc. And Fairy Marsha could still be watching over them from in the garden!!

And the biggest temptation of all............you know that Julie from Bella Belle dolls has the most precious Snow White......( the dwarves would just have to be out at the mine, couldnt possibly have all of them in there!!)

Ooh no, change of direction coming on???????? Help!!!!!!!!

Oh, yes, I think you can most definitely combine Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs with fairies . . . it’s all magical . . . I can see racoons in the kitching whipping up some stew, little birds hanging up the drapes, fairies weaving their magic . . . all sorts of possibilities!! I LIKE this idea!! :) Hugs, Marsha

The stitching looks great!! I like the idea of the Snow White cottage.... hmmm... wonder if it could be sleeping beauty though... wasn't she raised by the three faeries? Then you could have both worlds? She lived in a cottage in the woods too right? trying to remember..... -ara

P.S. I meant to also say, absolutely, their furniture would most certainly be made from goodies they found in the woods! I can see their bunk beds made out twigs as well as a long dining room table with benches . . .

Can you see I LIKE ♥ this idea, LOL

Kate the roof looks great. Your making a really good job of it. Reminds me of the Thatched Cottages in Kent.
Decisions, Decisions, Snow White or Fairies?. I'm leaning towards the Fairies..xxx

Hi Marsha , Im glad you said that cos Im leaning that way! Thats exactly my thoughts, I kept thinking of all the wonderful animals i could have in the house and garden!! Little bunnies, a stag in the garden! Lots of bluebirds, though goodness knows where Ill find them all lol ' and I agree, the furniture should be twiglike , now how to make bunkbeds.hmmm xx

Ara, oh no dont give me another option lol, you know me, indecisive at the best of times with just 2 !! But your right she did go into the woods in a cottage to hide out with the 3 kindly fairies!! Maybe they can come visit xx

Debbie, I goggled some thatched cottages and that gave me the idea to do the pattern.
I do love the fairy idea still so going to try and just make it a magical rustic cottage full of natural made goodies !! xx

I love the stitching on the roof!! I think either idea would be fun! I just watched Tinkerbell with my daughter last night and I did enjoy the fairies and all the cute little stuff they used like acorn pots. I can't wait to see what you do!

Have a great weekend!

It is looking so wonderful! I already love it and you still plan to do so much more adorable things! I like the snow white idea too- and who says that there cannot still be fairies living amongst the dwarves and snow white? You did a wonderful job with the thatching- what a good recycling that mattress got!!!!

Funny how the projects we start and the things we create oft times take on a life of their own. I would find it a little difficult to choose between Snow White and a fairy cottage (I love them both) but fairies are teensy tiny folk and can be found in the bitsiest of places. Surely there'd be room in Snow's cottage for a few? lol

Good Luck wit your dilema, Kate.
