Which should I choose?

Thanks to debbie http://debbiestinytreasures.blogspot.com/ i have been going through all the printable sites and remembered using this one before http://www.jennifersprintables.com/

I found one paper under the Victorian section which is really similar to the one used in the film except it has stripes behind it. The other is really loud and florally too, so not asure which to pick. What do you think? Wondering if the one at the top would be better as its less bright, or maybe I could tone the greener one down with something to make it less 'New'?
It is for the Victorian Parlour room, and will be For mrs Lovett who isnt the richest of women, so dont want it too posh looking.
Help me choose please???????

I like the top one for Mrs Lovett. The other one is a bit to pretty, although if you dirty it up! LOL Decisions, decisions.

I like the top one too. If you wanted to give it a "tired" look about dusting chalk over it? I originally thought of an acrylic wash but don't know how that would work on paper but you could try it and if it doesn't work just print out another piece :) Smiles Marsha

I like the top one better, too. How about lightly tea-staining once. Let dry, then add more dark tea stain in specific areas to simulate rain water that has seeped in from the outside over the years.
Good luck,
Mary

Top one it is then!Thats the one most like the one in the film. Marsha you hit the nail on the head, 'tired' is how I want it to look. The good thing is as its a printable I can try out staining it or adding chalks to see which works best. And Mary, thats exactly the look, kind of dampness in the tops of the room corners so ill try that thanks everyone!! xxx
p.s do I just print this out on paper, or should I buy card??

Kate, I'd try it on plain paper first, just a small sample to see how it withstands both ink and tea stain. Then if the paper falls aparts, the color runs, or the paper gets warped, then I'd go with card.

Normal printing paper should be OK Kate.

I don't remember the movie much but Top one definitely.

Do you have photoshop or any other editing program...you could dirty it up on that before printing it.

Although i think the chalk would work really really well.
